SALARY: $120,000-$142,500, bonus and long-term incentive eligible

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Work with vendor personnel to define scope of data needed for analysis
  • Develop and guide best of class information based selling recommendations and presentations to assist with solving critical business issues
  • Increase value of CM and view of ABI CM practices within the industry and among retail partners
  • Lead the strategic and tactical development of leading edge best of class Category/Space Management processes for the company. Application by class of trade and facilitated intra company knowledge and expertise around category management principals and thinking
  • Manage department budgets, training, SME initiatives
  • Interact with CM’s, CSM, and retail accounts to deliver category and space management best practice capabilities, analysis, insights, solutions
  • Serve as primary lead for the development of best of class account category plans, best practice applications and tools
  • Manage day to day activities of direct reports and their project work
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Understanding of DSD, 3-tier system, and a strong knowledge of the retail environment
  • Bachelor’s Degree with an emphasis in business/marketing
  • Strong analytical skills with all types of data, presenting to retail customers, and computer proficiency
  • Strong background in category management tools, processes, and business consulting
  • Understanding of shopper research and insights, familiarity with syndicated data, software, and measures
  • Excellent follow-up, communication, presentation, and leadership skills
  • Previous experience with consumer packed goods sales, marketing, or syndicated research
