Job Description
Location: Phoenix, AZ (On-Site)


Raintree Systems is searching for a dynamic and results-oriented Director, Business Development Representatives to drive annualized revenue across our product lines, including but not limited to EMR/EHR/Practice Management Software, SaaS offerings, Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), and third-party partner products. In this role, you will be responsible for building and overseeing a team of Business Development Representatives, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and expanding our customer base. You will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth and shaping our market position in the EMR/EHR/PM Software space.


Duties and Responsibilities


  • Establish and manage a fun, exciting and motivating office environment for the BDR team to thrive
  • Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and influencers within target organizations to understand their needs, challenges, and priorities, and position our solutions effectively
  • Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and events to represent the company, build relationships, and stay updated on industry trends and best practices
  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities in the EMR/EHR/PM software space, including market segments, industry verticals, and potential partnership opportunities
  • Prepare and present regular reports and updates to the executive team on business development activities, progress, and key metrics
  • Develop and execute a business development strategy to drive revenue growth, increase market share, and expand the customer base for our solutions
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and market dynamics to identify emerging opportunities, risks, and potential areas of differentiation for our solutions
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing and sales leadership to develop compelling value propositions, sales collateral, and marketing materials that resonate with target customers and partners
  • Manage and motivate a team of Business Development Representatives who are responsible for building and maintaining a robust pipeline of prospective clients and strategic partners through targeted research, networking, and relationship-building activities


Position Proficiencies and Requirements


  • Player/coach background with at least 3 years experience in developing and leading business development/sales teams, preferably within SaaS or Healthcare IT industries
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to navigate complex sales cycles and close deals
  • Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience in a similar role
  • Strong working knowledge of Salesforce CRM, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and/or other sales outreach systems is preferred
  • Knowledge of EMR/EHR/PM, other healthcare clinical applications and/or RCM experience is a plus
  • Self-motivated and results-driven with a proven ability to meet or exceed targets and drive revenue growth
  • This position is office based and will require being present 5 days a week in Phoenix, AZ.
