Direct Support Professional (Full time and Part time) $18 hour

HBD is looking for qualified and caring Direct Support Professionals to join our team! We have 9 locations throughout Broward County, Florida that provides residential and day services for adults and teens with intellectual disabilities and intensive behavior challenges. Responsibilities:

• Behavioral interventions and implementation
• Skill training and support in daily living activities
• Medication dispensing
• Assist individuals on medical appointments
• Supervision and support to ensure health and safety
• Community integration

Requirements:

• High school diploma/GED required
• Bilingual (Spanish, Creole) a plus
• Strong verbal and written communication skills a must
• Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel to other locations
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) a plus
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; be able to push, pull, reach, bend, and squat
• One year of experience providing direct services in a medical, psychiatric, nursing, child care setting or working with persons who have developmental disabilities required

Pay Rate: $18 hour
