You will provide valuable instruction and supervision to patients with brain injuries who are relearning Activities of Daily Living (ADL's) based on their own therapeutic home programs. You'll work in our beautiful residential apartment/home-like setting as you assist them in their meaningful recovery. You will also take part in social, recreational, shopping, and entertainment activities in community settings.

Starting wages are $17.25/hr. A continuing education program is available to begin increasing wages and earning bonuses after only 1 month of employment, giving you the potential to earn up to $19.50/hr. in less than 1 year!

Job Tasks:

• Performs bed, bath, toilet and chair transfers, up to 20 times per shift, utilizing approved transfer techniques.
• Provides for the safety of patients, visitors, staff and self when interacting with patients by implementing established behavior programs.
• Teaches, monitors, and documents individual patient programs including ADL's and therapeutic home programs in English.

Job Requirements:

• Direct care, care giving, medical assisting, and/or CNA experience is preferred.
• Must pass drug screen, health screen and criminal record check (fingerprints).
• Must be 18 years of age with high school diploma or GED.
• CNA or MA encouraged to apply.
