Digital Marketing Specialist

What is the opportunity?

As part of the Global Institutional Marketing team the Digital Marketing Specialist will support execution of the digital marketing strategy in the US. The role requires stakeholder and project management skills and proven experience of operating collaboratively and effectively in a complex matrix environment.

What will you do?

Websites

• Join colleagues to create teams developing integrated marketing campaigns to assist in execution of online marketing objectives
• Ensure all pages are accurate, function properly and comply with all RBC regulatory standards
• Support Search Engine Optimization to drive revenue by increasing the number of qualified visitors to RBC web sites
• Ensure proper version control of website files is maintained
• Effectively project manage requests from marketing colleagues and ensure stakeholder/legal/compliance approvals minimizing time to market
• Assist Marketing Managers by recommending best practices around information architecture
• Manage select website development projects by aligning with stakeholders in marketing
• Generate website traffic reports for key stakeholders
• Ensure all new web initiatives adhere to RBC Brand and Unified Online Standards (UOS), as determined by Online Marketing team

E-Distribution

• Work with marketing to consider the target audience digital experience through e-distribution, website and other digital deliverables
• Seek process improvements and work with marketing and e-distribution teams to drive best practice targeted emails, that provide the opportunity to build user journeys and lead generation
• Support marketing strategy for e-distribution, to ensure timely, accurate email marketing

Digital Marketing

• Support Social Media posting and paid campaign searches, helping marketing team define and deliver according to strategy
• Support provision of analytics and help drive a test and learn approach through relevant analytics

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

• Extensive experience of working on content management systems
• A minimum of 5 years of digital marketing experience in financial services, preferably in Asset Management
• Knowledge of Social Media Posting tools.

Job Summary

Supports the business through analysis, reporting, segmentation, and general analyst duties related to the digital marketing efforts. Applies extensive, in-depth knowledge, skills, and practices to perform complex assignments.
