Digital Marketing Specialist (Email)

Our client is seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist with 3 to 5 years of experience to join their team on a 3-6 month freelance basis that could turn into a full time gig.

This role will be fully remote while freelancing but if hired on full time, would change to hybrid 3 days a week in their downtown Chicago office.

Digital Marketing Specialist Responsibilities:

• Reviewing, assisting, and editing customer websites to increase customer retention
• Will be updating marketing emails(will not be responsible for writing or planning or strategizing on them)
• Making initial contact/setting up meetings for programs
• Website reporting, Update website templates
• Assist in marketing transition to new marketing agency
• Create/update testimonials, minor copy/image changes
• Work within Mailchimp to and Hubspot to make edits
• Contacting winners of prizes/sponsorships, confirming addresses, ordering and shipping products
• Coordination and campaign placements with teams.
• Present on Zoom and run a webinars to help customers use their free websites
• Attending occasional events
• Assisting with setting up email campaigns such as launches, renewals, abandoned cart, etc.

Digital Marketing Specialist Skills:

• Must be very detailed oriented and thorough
• Proficient in PPT, Microsoft, and Excel and Zoom (plus webinar experience is a plus)
• Self starter, willingness to learn, solve problems, jump in and figure it out
• Strong Communication/ presentation skills
• Project Management skills
• Ability to juggle projects
• HubSpot experience is ideal
• Digital and email Marketing background with experience pulling reports on campaign performance
