Responsibilities

  • Build a comprehensive, results-oriented email and SMS strategy for B2B retailers, including segmentation, automation, testing, and personalization aligned with the company’s overall branding, marketing, and e-commerce goals.
  • Write and share creative briefs with the internal agency to ensure timely delivery of new design and copywriting assets for email campaigns and flows.
  • Develop documentation and road maps for processes, A/B tests, and products/promotions that succeed through email
  • Collaborate with other teams in the company on content calendar development and optimized frequency of messaging
  • Conduct ongoing market research tracking industry trends, competition, and email/SMS eCommerce best practices
  • Maintain current and create new email lists and segments based on key buying behaviors.
  • Measure and report on growth KPIs to find and act on opportunities to improve.
  • Develop, implement, and optimize a strategy to increase new email subscriptions, reach lapsed customers, increase repeat purchase behaviors, and generate leads for our sales team
  • Responsible for recommending and vetting new software and partners, as needed.
  • Continuously test new ideas, run A/B tests on everything from subject lines to call to actions, and make intelligent decisions against the results.
  • Implement standardized email best practices.
  • End-to-end execution of campaigns including campaign setup, design, copy, production, coding, QA, and scheduling for all email and SMS marketing communication to our customers to strengthen brand engagement, grow customer loyalty and LTV, create sustained purchase demand, and drive profitable e-commerce revenue


Qualifications

  • 2+ years’ experience with Klaviyo .
  • Advanced segmentation capabilities - both in Klaviyo , as well as slicing and dicing lists from Power BI/ spreadsheets
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience managing, creating, and deploying campaigns as well as managing complex consumer databases and segmentation for B2B and B2C email and SMS marketing for an e-commerce company or online retailer
  • Experience with HTML and CSS
  • Experience with design or image-editing software
  • Experience with Google Analytics G4, Adobe Analytics, and reporting tools like Looker, Tableau
  • Experience with Salesforce
  • Experience with A/B and Multivariate testing of emails
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel
