About GTC
Helping customers satisfy their transportation needs since 1986, Gordon Truck Centers, Inc. (GTC) is an expanded network of 15 dealerships doing business as Freightliner Northwest, Western Star Northwest, and Freightliner of Hawaii. As a full-service Freightliner, Western Star, Wilson Trailer dealership family, GTC can sell, finance, insure and service commercial trucks for medium and heavy-duty applications.
Responsibilities:
  • Determine unit condition by conducting inspections & diagnostic tests, identifying deficiencies.
  • Able to read schematics for electrical and air systems.
  • Run diagnostic tests and analyze results.
  • Repair or replace vehicle engines, steering mechanisms, transmissions, and braking systems.
  • Develop technical skills through training opportunities
  • Ensure the cleanliness of the shop.
  • Test equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturers' specifications; make necessary adjustments if required.
  • Working knowledge of engines, transmissions, differential, A/C and suspensions.
Qualifications:
Heavy equipment dealership experience is preferred however our dealer family has opportunities for many skill sets. Bring your strong mechanical aptitude, team player mentality and belief in safety first to Team GTC!
