As a Developer, Data & Analytics, you will develop, construct, test and maintain architectures by ensuring it supports the business requirements. You will provide advice on new tools that may be needed to accommodate growing business needs, ensure systems are up and running at all times and recommend ways to improve data reliability, efficiency and quality.

• Provide gap analysis of available data against requirements to design future solutions
• Perform excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Perform excellent analytic skills associated with working on unstructured datasets
• Work with internal and external stakeholders including the Executive, Product, Data and Design teams to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.
• Create documentation and data dictionaries to support end-users of data systems
• Implement methods to improve data reliability and quality.
• Perform business analysis and gather requirements to support a variety of data projects.
• Design a high performing data schema to support dashboards.
• Develop ETL scripts to perform data transformations.
• Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements including re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, optimize data delivery and automate manual processes.
• Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional/non-functional business requirements.
• Test and validate data pipelines, transformations, datasets, reports, and dashboards.

Required

• Experience in Reporting / Visualization tools like Tableau
• Self-motivated Remain current on industry specific knowledge and emerging technology
• Experience in data analysis, data profiling, data transformation, data mapping from source to target database schemas and data cleansing
• Knowledge of data management fundamentals and data storage principles
• Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams
• Good interpersonal and communication skills and good team player
• Years of relevant experience
• Demonstrated ability in data modeling, ETL development, and Data warehousing
• Ability to take business requirements and create technology solutions
• Ability to work with ambiguity, translate high-level direction to specific deliverables and effectively plan self-assigned tasks efficiently in complex work streams
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills appropriately applied to all levels of seniority
• Demonstrated experience in relational database concepts with an expert knowledge of SQL
• Bachelor's Degree or related discipline with 5
• Willing and able to learn and pick up new technologies and responsibilities
• 4 - 6 years of working experience in a Data Engineer role
• Must be able to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities
• Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement

Preferred

• Experience working with Cloud application will be a plus.
• Master's Degree in Computer Science
• Experience with programming language like python will be a plus.
