Job Description
Position Summary


The Designer I will be responsible for development of Nike Men’s Underwear in line with the brand directives. He or she should collaborate with cross-functional partners on the fit and execution of all products as well as work closely with sales to understand customer needs and drive sales.


Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities Of The Job


  • Ensure calendar deadline achievement in collaboration
  • Design trend right, saleable product to drive sales applicable to and underwear
  • Follow up on all preproduction details: color, fabric, and trim; to ensure consistent high quality.
  • Partner with technical design in the creation of tech packs as well as during fit sessions
  • Research the market and trend services to keep designs trend correct
  • Supervise fittings from first prototypes to samples ensuring design aesthetic and overall garment quality
  • Prepare development artwork and tech packs for underwear brands
  • Work with sourcing team to execute high quality product within calendar timelines.

Qualifications & Experience


Experience: 3-5 years of related underwear design experience. Experience in performance brands preferred, but not required.


Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent


Skills


  • Aesthetically keen eye
  • Must be an expert Centric/PLM– create and maintain design tech packs
  • Excellent color matching skills
  • Must be extremely detail oriented.
  • Must be technically skilled and capable to make all comments during fit sessions
  • Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, Excel, PowerPoint, Acrobat or other related technical experience
  • Must be organized and manage time well in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


Pay Range: $70,000 - $80,000
