Overview and Essential Functions Overview: CableCom is seeking a Drafting/Design Manager for telecommunications design. Successful candidates will have working knowledge of the telecommunications industry, be familiar with permitting requirements for agencies, and be proficient in Auto Cad. This hybrid position is located in Benicia, California. We offer competitive pay and an extensive benefits package. Pay Range: $75,000 - $90,000 per year Responsibilities: Review daily production reports, keep track of employee work hours. Build business relationships, service client needs, and foster a partnership with CableCom clients. Monitor job queues and react proactively to meet client target dates Keep track of daily/weekly/monthly P&L to hit profitability targets. Interdepartmental support among internal teams as needed Team Development – monitor department needs and staff accordingly Employee Development – to identify and empower exceptional employees and leaders Qualifications Qualifications: Design/Permit proficiency within the telecommunications industry. Proficiency in Auto Cad helpful Knowledge of 3GIS helpful Ability to direct and manage project workloads and schedules to meet all contractual requirements and customer dictated schedules and commitments. Must be able to effectively communicate with crew. Maintain a positive attitude with team.
