Job Description
  • Support in creating & maintaining mechanical best practices and requirements
  • Demonstrate strong leadership that supports the success of the engineering department
  • Own the delivery of the solution (cost/fit/function/timing) of their components from start to finish
  • Responsible for the creation of a customer quote (what, when & how much) of their components.
  • Creativity and innovation
  • Ability to effectively utilize the business processes and systems
  • Sheet metal experience a plus
  • Collaboratively work with the Sales Engineers to incorporate new products into the solution
  • Coach engineers in the department with process & engineering excellence in order to develop the capability of the team
Education & Requirements
  • BS in Engineering preferred; company will consider a combination of education and experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications
  • Formal training and proficiency in CAD/Solidworks
  • 7+ years of engineering design experience (with Solidworks)
You should be proficient in:
  • Blueprint Reading
  • CAD Software
  • CAD/CAM Software
  • Engineering Degree
Machines & technologies you'll use:
  • CAD Software (Solidworks)
