About the Job
The Deputy Director of Investor Relations sits within the Institutional Investor’s Wealth Management team, and the candidate will be responsible for building the audiences of asset owners at our annual conferences. This will involve managing and creating new relationships with senior-level executives from independent RIAs, Multi-Family Offices and Single-Family Offices in the US. The candidate will also be responsible for sourcing and securing asset owners to join the speaker roster at each conference.
We are looking for an entrepreneurial, dynamic team player with strong relationship skills. The Manager is responsible for collaborating internally with content and marketing leaders and various business units within the Institutional Investor organization to form strong relationships, increasing revenue and profit.
Job Responsibilities
·Responsible for writing three Retirement Plan Advisors Institute programs
·Responsible for delivering senior executives from wealth management firms, RIAs, plan advisors, and multi-family offices to annual conferences
·Managing and creating relationships with C-suite executives from asset owners and develop a deep knowledge and expertise of key trends across the wealth management industry
·Build annual Advisory Boards of senior executives to assist with the content of our events
·Identify and secure speakers at our annual conferences
·Research and expand the database of asset owners in Salesforce
·Responsible for writing, editing, and selecting content for marketing emails
·Produce executive packages for each event for post-conference materials
Qualifications
The ideal candidate needs to be a genuine team player who can reach objectives individually, as well as through close collaboration and coordination with other team members. A strong understanding of the Institutional Investor’s organization and a passion for client relations are key to success in the role. The candidate should have the following qualifications:
·Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as organizational and analytical skills
·Entrepreneurial mindset, client-centric, outgoing, strategic, analytical, natural collaborator
·Strong time management skills to prioritize deadlines and multi-task
- Proficiency in Salesforce
- Travel is essential - at least once a quarter
- Finance background is preferred, but not required
