Job Description
Akira Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Database Management Analyst with experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) projects. The Database Management Analyst will administer, test, and implement computer databases through application of knowledge on various database management systems.


This is a hybrid role with occasional meetings at the headquarters in Washington, DC.


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Work with a team or individually in maintaining databases within an application area.
  • Plan and help implement security measures to safeguard databases.
  • Administer, test, and implement computer databases.
  • Coordinate changes to computer databases.


Qualifications:


  • Professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with DoD (especially Navy)
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, math, business administration, or related fields.
  • Organization and time management skills.
  • Experience effectively communicating with Project Managers, Control Account Managers, and other stakeholders.
  • At least 3 years supporting project schedules managing Integrated Management Schedules (IMS) in scheduling software such as MS Project, Primavera, etc.
  • Strong Microsoft Office 365 experience.
