Data Science Analyst Jobs

Project Details: Will be taking in data, analyzing it to see what customers are doing, noticing what helps increase customer retention/what encourages customer churn, creating models around that. Working with many types of data including third party and deposit data.

Must Have Skills:

• 5+ years of experience Python- can write scripts
• Experience with SQL- ability to write complex SQL queries
• Experience using visualization tools- Tableau and Power BI, or adobe analytics for web analytics

Nice to Have Skills:

• Adobe Analytics

Day to Day Responsibilities

• Work with cloud and distributed computing architectures, and data providers, e.g S3, Spark, DigitalOcean, Google Analytics, Site Catalyst, Coremetrics, Adwords, Crimson Hexagon, Facebook Insights, Map/Reduce, Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Gurobi, MySQL
• Use distributed data/computing tools to achieve business results: Map/Reduce, Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Gurobi, MySQL, etc.
• Experience with programming languages such as Java/Python or R an asset
• Able to understand various data structures and common methods in data transformation
• Create and use advanced machine learning algorithms and statistics: regression, distributions, simulation, scenario analysis, modeling, clustering, decision trees, neural networks, etc.
• Use predictive modeling to increase and optimize customer experiences, revenue generation, ad targeting and other business outcomes.
• Coordinate with different functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes.
• Develop and execute upon data A/B testing framework and test model quality.
• Extensive background in data mining and statistical analysis
• Work to analyze data from a wide variety of 3rd party data providers: Google Analytics, Adwords, Adobe, etc.
• Practical experience with ETL, data processing, database programming and data analytics
• Excellent pattern recognition and predictive modeling skills
