Position Summary
Your Responsibilities Will Include
Due to our ongoing expansion, we are excited to announce an immediate opening for a Data Quality Analyst. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the highest data fidelity, benefiting both our data partners and external conversion customers.
Reviewing and Ensuring Data Integrity: Scrutinizing transformed data to guarantee its integrity.
Comparing Data Sets: Comparing transformed data to the original to ensure all essential information is retained.
Identifying Data Gaps: Using queries and data comparison techniques to pinpoint missing data gaps.
Collaborating for Resolution: Working closely with our conversion team members to resolve data discrepancies.
Testing Migration Utilities: Participating in testing updates and enhancements to migration utilities.
Staying Informed: Maintaining a working knowledge of integrated software and researching new projects and concepts.
Data Modeling: Modeling data requirements and conveying findings to the development team.
API Utilization: Maintaining a working knowledge of our company's API, and using it to provide reports for clients and internal teams.
Documentation: Creating, maintaining, and enhancing documentation to ensure the smooth flow of operations.
Flexibility: Being prepared for occasional weekend and after-hours work as needed.
Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
Database Familiarity: Proficiency with databases, including but not limited to Microsoft SQL, MySQL, Microsoft Access (ACE SQL), FoxPro/Dbase, PostgreSQL, and non-queryable databases.
Data Analysis: Ability to read, analyze, and comprehend data from a database.
SQL Proficiency: Basic knowledge of SQL.
Coding Skills: Basic familiarity with C# or similar coding languages is a plus.
Veterinary Industry Knowledge: Experience in the veterinary industry or with veterinary data is also a plus.
Communication Skills: Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
Quick Learner: Capability to swiftly learn and adapt to new skills and technologies.
Positive Attitude: A positive attitude and the ability to maintain the highest level of professionalism.
Thriving Under Pressure: Ability to perform well under pressure and be resourceful in meeting internal deadlines.
Education or Equivalent: A college degree, technical certifications, or equivalent experience.
