Are you a passionate and motivated individual looking for an exciting opportunity? We are currently seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide direct support to the Safety General Manager and assist the Safety department in both manufacturing and non-manufacturing operations across North America.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive support to the Safety General Manager, including meeting coordination, travel arrangements, and report preparation.
Assist the NA Safety department with administrative tasks, such as coordinating high-level and executive meetings, preparing materials, and taking minutes.
Collaborate with manufacturing and non-manufacturing operations to provide administrative support for safety-related activities.
Manage and maintain the Safety Division's Microsoft Teams pages and website.
Handle department-level Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure proper tracking and management.
Administer the NA Region Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) program and budget.
Maintain and update training records for the NA Safety Department.
Proactively suggest process improvements, automation solutions, and ideas to enhance team efficiency.
Support the coordination and onboarding activities of the co-op program.
Requirements
Associates Degree in Business, Communications, Safety, or equivalent experience.
Minimum of two years of experience in an administrative role.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to work successfully with individuals at all levels.
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Suite (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.).
Highly organized and detail-oriented.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience working in Safety.
Familiarity with Ariba.
Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat Suite.
Bachelor's Degree.
