Your Role
As our Material Planning & Logistics (MP&L) Manager, you'll be at the heart of our supply chain operations. Your responsibilities will include handling and scheduling materials, coordinating internal flow, managing inventory accuracy, and utilizing SAP as our system of record. But that's just the beginning!
What You'll Do
Lead the loading and unloading of trucks and railcars.
Set up and break down equipment.
Assist with stock handling and inventory controls.
Create budgets and streamline processes.
Be a problem-solving superstar.
Organize storage for maximum efficiency.
Your Key Responsibilities
Manage inventory, warehouse, transportation, and logistics processes.
Develop innovative strategies to streamline processes and reduce costs.
Ensure we meet quality, quantity, customer satisfaction, and financial commitments.
Dive into metrics reporting and data analysis to identify opportunities for process improvements.
Collaborate with manufacturers, suppliers, and customers.
Nurture and develop your logistics dream team.
Take charge of budgets like a pro.
Strategically plan and oversee inventory, warehousing (including offsite locations), transportation, and customer service.
Keep tabs on inventory levels, meeting cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness targets.
Monitor on-time, in-full (OTIF) performance, quality, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs, and process efficiency.
Resolve any issues or complaints with grace, while mentoring your inventory team.
Maintain metrics and analyze data to continuously enhance operations.
Provide support for purchasing and production planning.
Your Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations, logistics, business administration, transportation, or engineering.
10 - 15 years of experience working in logistics, warehouse, or transportation operations.
A deep understanding of supply chain, inventory, distribution, business, and management principles.
A team player who excels at managing, coaching, and providing training.
Exceptional organizational and analytical skills.
Working knowledge of logistics and inventory software.
