We are looking for candidates comfortable with a range of accounting and finance support functions, with an emphasis on effective record keeping. We are looking for candidates who are comfortable with entering high volumes of data into Microsoft Excel and ERP systems and databases with utmost precision and speed and must possess a high level of organization, reliability and attention to detail. This Data Entry Clerk role is a long-term contract / temporary opportunity in San Antonio, Texas.

Key responsibilities

• Working with and maintaining confidentiality of highly sensitive information
• Adhering to policies and procedures when performing operations; reporting needed revisions
• Assisting with data entry and additional administrative tasks
• Following data program techniques and procedures to maintain data entry requirements
• Gathering and organizing information to be entered into the computer; prioritizing entries
• Performing special projects as assigned
• Processing customer and account source documents, reviewing data and detecting deficiencies

Requirements

• Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills
• High school diploma or equivalent obtained
• Can work independently with minimal supervision
• Proven computer skills
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Perform a data entry speed of 8,000 keystrokes per hour with 100% accuracy
• Experience with higher level functionality in Microsoft Excel
• Comprehensive knowledge of data entry
