About the Role:

Job Title: Principal Data Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a scrum team in the design and implementation of the Surest on USP project
• Provide technical guidance and direction to the team
• Work with the Product Owner and Scrum Master to ensure the project meets goals and timelines
• Monitor and ensure timely completion of projects
• Work with a team of 4 technical leads and architects

Minimum Qualifications:

• Experience working on cloud-based infrastructure
• Experience with leading technical teams
• Need to know SQL like Pyspark SQL, running a lot of queries, using PostgreSQL, complex SQL knowledge.
• Streaming through Kafka, JSON, and a lot of other tools. All kinds of Jobs from Batch processing, to consuming data to upload on AWS or Azure.
• Tech Stack- Databricks as a Job Platform for Data processing, building in Python & Pyspark, Framework-Databricks. Pipeline, Someone who can understand SDLC or Software Development using GIT & building pipelines.

• Healthcare background

Location: Plano, TX or Chicago, IL (100% REMOTE)

Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $140,000 – $150,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
