Title: Data Engineer

· Data Engineering skill set with good experience in Python, Pyspark or Scala. · Experience working on building data pipelines and data warehouses with preferred knowledge of Snowflake. · Looking for someone with 10+ years of experience. · Strong technical experience in creating and supporting data models, databases, data mining and good knowledge on querying techniques. · Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of data with attention to detail and accuracy · 4 - 6 years of experience in ETL tools such as Informatica, SSIS, Alteryx and/or Talend · 3 - 5 years of experience in data analysis and reporting · 1 - 2 years of experience with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) · Exp with Snowflake is highly desirable · Experience with Automotive domain is preferred · Responsible to build and maintain analytics data mart, to ensure back-end analytics platform and infrastructure is highly performant and flexible for use by front-end data analysts/developers · Build and maintain customized scripts and ETL jobs to reports, dashboards, predictive models, and ad hoc analysis · Develop standardized and scalable solutions using various back end, database, and data transformation tools and technologies (SQL, Alteryx, Spark, etc.) · Deep expertise in writing SQL joins, stored procedures, scripts, functions, views, indexing and execution plans · Define data flow design and appropriate data models to support ad-hoc analytics needs and assist in interpretation of data · Partner with data analyst and others to identify requirements, and transform data for analytics and reporting
