SUMMARY OF POSITION
In accordance with the agreed-upon Service Level Agreement, this function is responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of a group of Critical Environment engineers onsite and ensuring that they offer Preventative Maintenance (PM) and Repair Services to the Client and their customers. gives support for Data Center operations to the client's Data Center Manager as well. Support the provision and upkeep of Critical Environment services on-site.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage unanticipated events as they arise and, when needed, give our client management pertinent input.
The Critical Environment team needs encouragement and mentoring, as well as regular feedback to ensure ongoing improvement. Identify any areas that require training.
overall responsibility for Preventative Maintenance (PM), Configuration Management (CM), or Repairs within the specified SLA timeline, or escalate if problems cannot be fixed quickly.
Overall accountability for ensuring that:
- Facility infrastructure equipment installations are completed in accordance with appropriate internal, manufacturer, and industry standards and within the specified SLA timeframe.
- Installation, relocation, and decommissioning requests for information technology equipment that are completed within the specified SLA timeframes and in accordance with relevant manufacturer, internal, and industry standards.
- Daily routine inspections, cleaning, and recording of the data halls' results.
- Assistance with mechanical and electrical fault finding (chiller, computer room air conditioning (CRAC), computer room air handler (CRAH), uninterruptible power supply (UPS), power distribution unit (PDU), static transfer switches (STS), etc.)Ensure all deployments are installed to applicable internal, manufacture and industry standards.
Make sure that all records are updated when any changes are made and that all relevant process documentation is kept up to date.
To ensure safe working conditions at all times, make sure method statements and risk assessments are created and used for all jobs.
Manage the relationship with the client on an all-encompassing basis, working with other stakeholders to make sure that all MSA criteria are met.
What you will need:
In order to do this position successfully, a candidate must demonstrate the capacity to carry out each essential responsibility. The knowledge, skill, and/or ability needed are represented by the prerequisites given below. Requires a high school diploma or a general education diploma (GED). at least four years' worth of relevant training or experience. It is preferred to have an associate's or bachelor's degree with a business, technical, or management concentration. Preferably, prior managerial experience.
Certification in facility management is preferred. A driver's license can be necessary.
Outstanding verbal and written communication. strong analytical and interpersonal skills. the capacity to offer consumers resourceful, prompt, dependable, and pleasant service. ability to effectively communicate facts and respond to pressing concerns.
Comprehensive understanding of financial concepts is necessary. Ability to compute intermediate numbers, including commissions, discounts, and percentages. high-level financial analysis is carried out.
The capacity to read, evaluate, and interpret complex documents. the capacity to solve issues with multiple possible solutions. need highly developed mathematical and analytical abilities.
Intermediate knowledge of Outlook, the intranet, and the internet. using the work order system competently. direct work experience with electrical, mechanical, and architectural systems. strong familiarity with and expertise with contracts, leases, and related paperwork.
Decisions taken in order to meet goals and objectives by adhering to procedures, corporate policies, and business practices. Setting the deadlines for work units and/or projects. Mistakes in judgment could have an immediate effect on the department.
