Data Center And Infrastructure Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Center and Infrastructure Administrator to join our team. As a Data Center and Infrastructure Administrator, you will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining the organization's data center and infrastructure, ensuring smooth operations, scalability, and security. You will play a vital role in managing various technologies such as Hyper-V, Firewalls, Storage Solutions, Veeam, and O365. The ideal candidate should possess a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to infrastructure management.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain documentation, including system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
• Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement necessary optimizations to ensure optimal infrastructure operations.
• Configure, monitor, and maintain firewalls to ensure network security and protect against potential threats.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and expansion projects.
• Implement and maintain storage solutions, including SANs, NAS, and other storage technologies, to meet the organization's storage requirements.
• Oversee backup and recovery processes using Veeam or similar backup software, ensuring data integrity and timely restoration of critical systems.
• Implement and enforce security best practices and compliance standards to protect data and maintain regulatory requirements.
• Administer and troubleshoot Hyper-V virtualization platform, including managing virtual machines, resource allocation, and performance optimization.
• Administer and support O365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams, ensuring efficient collaboration and communication among users.
• Manage and maintain the organization's data center and infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.

Requirements:

• Experience with backup and recovery processes using Veeam.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving infrastructure issues.
• In-depth knowledge of Hyper-V virtualization platform, including deployment, management, and performance optimization.
• Proven experience as a Data Center and Infrastructure Administrator or a similar role.
• Proficient in implementing and managing storage solutions such as SANs, NAS, and related technologies.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Hyper-V Certified Professional) would be a plus.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts and experience with configuring and maintaining firewalls.
• Solid understanding of O365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams.
• Familiarity with monitoring and performance optimization tools.
• Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
