Who we’re working with is a nationally recognized home improvement company headquartered out of Florida who is rapidly growing.They are looking to add a Data and Insight Project Manager to make an investment into their BI and Data strategy. Their goal is to fully automate their data strategy in the home improvement industry and eventually move into AI.

As Project Manager for Enterprise projects related to Data core, Business Intelligence (BI), BI reporting, and Data governance, your primary responsibility is to oversee the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects related to these areas. To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in project management, with experience in managing enterprise-level projects related to data core, business intelligence, BI reporting, and data governance. You should have excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to manage and motivate teams. A good understanding of data management and analytics technologies, such as data warehousing, ETL, and reporting tools, is also important.

What You'll Do

Your key duties and responsibilities include but not limited to-

• Budget management- Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, and timelines
• Conduct quality assurance checks throughout the project lifecycle to ensure that deliverables meet the defined specifications.
• Change Management- Manage change control processes, ensuring changes are assessed for impact and properly approved before implementation
• Project Execution: Oversee project execution to ensure that tasks are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Manage project risks, issues, and changes as they arise, and take corrective actions as needed. Perform all agile ceremonies and promote agile culture across organizations.
• Stakeholder Management: Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure that their requirements are met. Work closely with stakeholders to identify business needs, understand their requirements, and provide regular updates on project progress.
• Quality Management: Ensure that project deliverables meet the required quality standards.
• Project Planning: Work with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, timelines, deliverables, and resource requirements. Create a project plan that outlines the tasks, timelines, and milestones for each phase of the project.
• Team Management: Manage project teams consisting of developers, analysts, testers, and other stakeholders. Assign tasks and responsibilities and ensure that team members have the resources and support they need to complete their work. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the project team.
• Documentation: Ensure that project documentation is maintained and up to date. Develop project reports, status updates, and other documentation as needed to keep stakeholders informed.
• Communication: Communicate project progress, risks, issues, and changes to stakeholders, sponsors, and other project team members. Keep everyone informed about project status and ensure that they are aware of any issues or changes that may affect project timelines or outcomes.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business, information technology, or engineering
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or other relevant certifications is a plus
• 5+ years of project management experience closer to 8 years would be ideal)
• Would like them to have exposure to data projects. Any type of BI, data management, or ETL exposure will be a huge plus for this candidate. Not looking for someone that is technical, but knowledge and exposure to this would be ideal
• Experience managing cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization
