024996 Data & Analytics Intern (Open)



Summary


Provides basic analysis, data modeling and insights support to the Data & Analytics department. Requires basic knowledge of data acquisition, data orchestration, modeling, governance and reporting concepts and fundamentals. Typically working towards a Bachelor's degree in related fields.


Key Responsibilities


  • Contributes valuable work through delivering against performance goals and assigned projects.
  • Works closely with data & analytics team to shadow, learn and contribute using Power BI, Python tools
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Assists with assignments the team is currently working on in the areas of descriptive analytics (Power BI), advanced analytics (Python, Machine Learning)
  • Familiarizes oneself with the functions of the department.
  • May presents to Executive Leadership Team at the end of the internship.
  • Attends internship events and functions including but not limited to social networking events and roundtables.


Education And Experience


Typically working towards a Bachelor's degree in related fields such as Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Data Science, Cognitive science and Computer Science.


Knowledge And Skills


Takes initiative and is intellectually curious.


An effective communicator, both written and oral.


Some knowledge of technologies such as Python programming, Power BI reporting, Microsoft Azure Data & AI tools, data warehouse modeling is a plus
