Job Description
A popular full-service bank, commercial leader, and asset manager is looking for an enterprise Data Analyst to join their team. Ideal Candidates will have strong experience in SQL, BI tools, mariaDB, and a scripting language (Python, PHP, or PowerShell) is preferred.
The role is offered remote, but the company is located in Bethesda, Maryland so ideally someone on the east coast or OK working east coast hours is needed, as well.
Duties And Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with others, be comfortable communicating with technical, and business stakeholders
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to define their needs and design solutions to deliver effective data reports to meet their operational and strategic needs
  • Own and facilitate the development of reports, data visualizations, and data structures for our commercial lending teams
Desired Qualifications
  • Must have strong SQL skills (T-SQL, MYSQL, etc.)
  • 1+ year of experience in business analysis, data analytics or similar analytical role strongly preferred
  • Strong time management skills
  • Experience using ELT Tools to move data
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, statistics, computer science, or mathematics fields preferred
  • Outstanding communication skills as well as a tenacity for overcoming hurdles and impediments
  • Demonstrate practical and disciplined development expertise
  • Has good communication and reasoning skills, including the ability to make a strong case for technology choices; can build consensus and iteratively improve solutions
  • Experience with BI Tools (PowerBI, SSRS, etc.)
  • Experience designing and implementing data structures to support reporting tools
  • Strong experience in a scripting language (PHP, Python, PowerShell)
  • Have a balanced skillset of deep technical expertise along with excellent soft skills/competencies
