Data Analyst

Pay $30-33/hour

Location: Murfreesboro, TN (ONSITE)

Duration: Long-term contract

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have seven years of directly related experience in a fast-paced environment, with experience in CRM systems, call centers, or the automotive industry. Must have superior analytical skills and the ability to communicate quantitative findings in a clear and concise manner. Must be able to multi-task and manage multiple analysis projects, research and simplify complex concepts, have strong communication skills, and understand project management methods.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Compile and analyze data from different sources and develop clear-actionable reports

• Develop and analyze dashboards utilizing Consumer Affairs data within Salesforce.com

• Perform routine and ad-hoc analysis using CRM database extractions and advanced Excel skills

• Perform multi-variable analyses on data, isolating CA impact for the purpose of determining future areas of focus

• Manage monthly creation/update of CA performance tracking reports and dashboard

• Lead the collection and consolidation of data for reports and executive presentations

• Work with CA functions to continuously evaluate key performance indicators

• Ensure procedures and processes, including instructions on systems and report creation, are properly documented and maintained

• Ensure continuous improvement to procedures and processes

• Monitor project costs. Research projects and prepare correcting entries, as necessary

• Conduct analysis of management and operational problems and formulate improvement plans where necessary

• Perform other special projects of which the above are not representative

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelors degree required

• 2-5 years of directly related experience at a professional level in a fast-paced environment

• Experience with CRM systems, call centers, or automotive industry

• Superior analytical skills and strong abilities to communicate quantitative findings succinctly

• Proven ability to multi-task and manage multiple analysis projects

• Ability to research, simplify, and accurately present difficult concepts and information

• Experience with manipulating large data sets with precision, drawing numerical relationships, and creating compelling reports that simplify complex issues

• Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills, along with ability to interact and present to management

• Good understanding of project management methods

• Able to work independently and demonstrate a proactive and positive approach to responsibilities and tasks
