Data Analyst Intern - Summer 2023

Description And Requirements

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Data Analyst Intern to join our engineering team. As a Data Analyst Intern, you will work closely with our data scientists and engineers to help drive data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct analysis of large data sets and provide insights to drive business decisions.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and technologies related to data analysis and visualization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities to optimize processes and improve performance.
• Work with data engineers to design and maintain data pipelines and ensure data accuracy and completeness.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to communicate key performance indicators.

Minimum Requirements:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Python and experience with data analysis libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-Learn is preferred
• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience with Google Analytics
• Prior internship or work experience in data analysis is a plus.
• Experience working with Atlassian tool suite – BitBucket, Jira and Confluence
• Experience with MongoDB
