Cybersecurity Analyst Jobs

The Cybersecurity Analyst will lead the design, implementation, and management of the company's cybersecurity strategies, policies, and technologies. This individual will be responsible for securing SharePoint, Microsoft Azure, Office 365, setting up a Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) system, and establishing a regular patch management process for third-party applications. Additionally, the Cybersecurity Analyst will collaborate with internal teams, executive leadership, and external vendors to ensure alignment with security goals and industry best practices.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assess the company's Microsoft Secure Score and formulate a roadmap to improve its security posture.
• Stay informed about emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies to adapt the company's security strategy as needed.
• Monitor security alerts and incidents, coordinating timely responses and conducting incident investigations.
• Lead the selection and deployment of appropriate security technologies, including SIEM solutions, endpoint protection, and vulnerability management tools.
• Provide guidance on security best practices to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with external partners, vendors, and auditors for security assessments and compliance audits.
• Manage and oversee the regular patch management process for third-party applications, ensuring timely updates to mitigate vulnerabilities.
• Work closely with IT team to implement secure architecture and configurations for cloud-based platforms.
• Develop and implement security policies, standards, and procedures for SharePoint, Azure, and Office 365 environments.

Job Requirements:

• Several years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity, including experience with cloud security (Azure, Office 365), SIEM, and patch management.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong understanding of Microsoft security technologies, frameworks, and best practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proven ability to lead and implement cybersecurity projects from start to finish.
• Certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), or equivalent.
• Excellent communication skills to convey complex security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
