Job Description

As Cybersecurity Liaison (CSL), manage all aspects of the NSSI information assurance program, to include identifying IA requirements, personnel, processes, and procedures and implement and enforce all Space Force IA policies and procedures using the guidance within applicable specialized IA publications.
Specific Duties
  • Coordinate any changes or modifications to hardware, software, or firmware with the wing IA office and system-level Information Assurance Manager or Information Assurance Officer.
  • Create/maintain support documentation and operational guides for NSSI faculty and students.
  • CSL duties as assigned.
  • Ensure all users (faculty and students) have the requisite security clearances, supervisory need-to-know authorization, and are aware of their IA responsibilities (via IA training) before being granted access to NSSI Information Systems.
  • Report IA incidents or vulnerabilities to the ISSM.
  • Ensure and track all users receive Cybersecurity refresher training on an annual basis.
As IT Support, provide services to manage, operate, sustain, and provide logistical and general support for NSSI IT systems. Meet all NSSI IT requirements for the entire life-cycle of each IT service to include steady-state day-to-day operations.
Specific Duties
  • Perform client support IT duties. The purpose of a client support administrator is to provide a first-line customer support function to resolve basic IT-related issues for NSSI users and students.
  • Provide consolidated help desk function/serve as NSSI IT focal point for customer support.
  • Contractor shall be able to disconnect, move and connect equipment to networks; analyze, troubleshoot and resolve software, hardware and network anomalies; operate and maintain computer facilities, as well as all current SETC IT system hardware and software and any new hardware and software specified by the Government and added to SETC networks during the course of the contract. Flexible work schedules may be required to support course schedules and contingencies according to a mutually agreed upon schedule.
  • Test and evaluate new network hardware and software to determine compatibility with current systems.
  • Support a Commercial Internet Service Provider (CISP) setup including firewall and laptops.
  • Communicate with the SETC host IT group on all IT related issues.
  • Meet with customers/users on a regular basis to learn about their organizational structures, unit missions and requirements to gain a better understanding of their needs and to educate customers on the NSSI processes and procedures.
  • Communicate with software vendors and maintain a log for all software utilized by the NSSI.
  • Perform system technical support and troubleshooting.
  • Coordinate with internal and external agencies (i.e., third-party vendors, host base, and program management offices), to isolate faults, make repairs and restore service to NSSI systems, and report the status of problem resolution to the affected customer and maintaining a historical record of problem resolution.
  • Other IT duties as assigned.
  • Create/maintain server support documentation and operational guides for instructors and operators.
Required Experience
Required Experience
  • Creating and maintaining user accounts in the AFNET and NIPRNet networking environment.
  • Current SECRET clearance.
  • Customer service focus with help desk like experience.
Desired Experience
  • Ability to attain a TS/SCI security clearance.
  • 3 years of experience with Office, WSUS, eMASS, ADLS, IAO Express, Windows 2012 and 2016 Servers, Windows 10 SDC.
  • Cybersecurity Liaison and system administration experience, preferably with USAF NIPR and SIPR
Required Education
  • Security Plus (minimum)
  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree in computer science or information technology preferred, but 8 years of System Administration and Cybersecurity Liaison experience may be substituted for degree

In compliance with Colorados Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is $60,000 to $80,000; however, Sigmatech considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, experience, education/training, key skills, location and often contractual requirements.
