Responsibilities:
• Primary responsibility will be to support Vulnerability Management Team at Client's within the Operations Group. Operational responsibilities will include the following:
• Leading the vulnerability management activities associated with SAP financial systems
• Developing and performing compliance scanning of Client critical assets
• Engaging with application teams to align vulnerability management processes
• Assisting the Operations Teams with configuring, scanning, reporting vulnerabilities found on all assets withing the Client environment
• Develop strategic service road maps
• Support operational processes, rules of engagements and methodologies to deliver quality vulnerability analysis, alerting/alarms, security control enforcement and monitoring to asset/remediation owners using Onapsis security tools on SAP systems
• Ensure deliverables are of a quality nature and provide practical intelligence to help asset owners remediate identified vulnerabilities
• Execute automated and scheduled security vulnerability and compliance scans using the Onapsis Vulnerability and Compliance component
• Research vulnerabilities in software, firmware and devices, and modern exploits and exploitation techniques in the following areas: Microsoft platform (Server, workstation, applications), Open Systems platforms (Linux, UNIX, VM Ware ESX), Java, Adobe, Web Application, Java web app virtualization platforms (e.g. WebSphere), Networking, Databases (HANA, Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, IMS), and SAP ABAP and JAVA platforms.
• Assess publicly and privately announced security vulnerabilities to determine the risk based on severity, threat likelihood and impact
• Assists in designing correction plans, mitigations, and full remediation actions
• Understand and communicate attack chains to management and other stakeholders
• Collaborate with infrastructure and application owners on security hot-fixes or patch management validation
• Identify and recommend appropriate measures to manage and remediate vulnerabilities and reduce potential impacts on information resources to a level acceptable to the senior management of the company
• Support the cyber incident response team in specified vulnerability discovery and identification tasks during crisis management.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to develop requirements for service enhancements
Qualifications:
• Broad knowledge of information systems and networking technologies, demonstrating understanding related to the functionality of, secure configuration of, and security logs produced by those information systems
• Knowledge, skills, and abilities to conduct cyber-related or cyber-facilitated activities Strong interpersonal, analytical, organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in analyzing events, and incidents related to computer security.
Desired:
• Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience
• Security Vulnerability Management experience preferred.
• Customer service experience, working with users over the phone, via email, and in person.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Splunk or other SIEM experience
• creating alerts, reports, dashboards, etc.
• Qualys, Prisma Cloud, Shodan, Xpanse, PowerBI, SQL, Powershell, Python.
