Cyber Analytics Senior Analyst

This role is necessary to support the growth and stability of the Cybersecurity Analytics and Internal Risk team. This will improve the ability to develop analytical tools, dashboards, and algorithms to help Identify risk across Mars and the subsidiaries. This role will enable further development of critical metrics within Cyber Defense and the broader Cybersecurity Operations program and provide support during cyber incidents. This is a global role that requires context of how Mars, Inc and all legal entities operate so that technology choices support Business objectives.

What are we looking for?

• 4+ years work experience in IT cyber security with an emphasis query and dashboard development
• Strong understanding and experience working with SIEM, EDR, phishing security controls, and Insider Threat programs.
• Programming experience required (e.g. Python, R)
• Knowledge of Data Science concepts preferred.
• Strong technical writing and speaking skills.
• Experience with Visualization Tools preferred (e.g. PowerBI, Databricks)
• Expert abilities with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work both individually and as part of a team.
• Experience with regular expressions.
• Database experience required (e.g. SQL, KQL)

What will be your key responsibilities?

• Broad knowledge of analytical languages.
• Produce queries, visualizations, and dashboards based on requirements from stakeholders.
• Takes direction from Cyber Analytics Senior Lead as well as proposes new Innovative Ideas
• Broad technical expertise with cybersecurity data to find useful information in raw data for team members and for investigations.
