Solutions³ LLC is supporting our prime contractor and their U.S. Government customer to provide support for onsite incident response to civilian Government agencies and critical asset owners who experience cyber-attacks, providing immediate investigation and resolution. The project team personnel perform investigations to characterize the severity of breaches, develop mitigation plans, and assist with the restoration of services.

Solutions³ LLC is looking for Cyber Lab Technician to support this critical customer mission.

Eligibility:

• Must have 2+ years of experience
• Must have 1+ years of directly relevant experience in lab management or system administration
• Must be a US Citizen
• Must be able to obtain DHS Entry on Duty (EOD) Suitability prior to onboarding.
• Must have an active DoD Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI

Responsibilities:

• Provision and provide support for Virtual Private Network (VPN) or Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (e.g., Citrix) to users
• Providing network documentation for changes in network topology or policies
• Performing systems maintenance tasks such as routine maintenance and patching on databases and software systems
• Providing support as needed to lab staff in the tasks of provisioning and issuing equipment to end users, as well as maintaining inventory database.
• Providing advice and assistance to users in accessing and using the lab and responds to users’ needs in a timely fashion
• Inventorying of hardware and software, including licenses
• Providing support for systems administration tasks such as patching, updating, and maintaining network infrastructure
• Supporting the implementation of new technologies and equipment in the lab environment
• Conducting capacity and performance analysis, and provides system configuration change and upgrade recommendation

Required Skills:

• Boundary protection and enclaving
• Experience with multiple operating systems, to include Linux/Unix & MacOS
• Must be able to provide excellent customer service.
• Must be able to work collaboratively across physical locations
• Authentication and access management technologies
• Asset management practices and principles
• Hardware and software provisioning practices
• Database management and implementation
• Experience with Virtual Private Networks (VPN)
• Experience with virtual desktops (Citrix, VMWare, AWS)
• Defense-in-depth principles and network security architecture
• Proficiency and proven capability in the following areas:
• Computer Network Defense (CND) policies, procedures, and regulations
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills

Desired Skills:

• Experience with writing technical procedures and standard operating procedures
• Virtualization automation and optimization

Required Education: Bachelors Computer Science, Cyber Security, Computer Engineering, or related degree – OR – HS Diploma & + years of related experience lab management or systems administration experience.

• Desired Certifications: DoD 8140.01 IAT Level II
