To meet the ever-changing needs of libraries and schools, we are looking for a talented person who values hard work and innovation to fill the role of Itoh Cutter Operator.
This position offers a convenient Monday through Friday first shift work schedule, from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and is in DeForest, WI.
What You’ll Do Every Day
In this position, you will be responsible for performing the daily operations of the Itoh Robocut computerized cutter in a safe and efficient manner. Orders raw materials and follows instructions on job tickets to cut materials for respective press size or finished product. Tabs press sheets into the desired quantities for packaging before trim. Performs weekly light duty maintenance, including blade changes, oil changes, etc. Assists in other areas of the Value Center as needed.
Qualifications
Qualified candidates must have a high-school education or equivalent degree. You must be able to stand for multiple hours at a time and be able to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively. Flexibility, a focus on detail, and the ability to adapt quickly to a changing environment are essential qualities for success in this role. Qualified candidates must have previous experience operating a large format guillotine cutter and be willing to cross train in other Value Center functions.
