Job Description
Position: Machine Operator – Full-time employment!
Pay: $17/hr+ shift premium and pay rate increases every 6 months! Opportunity for overtime as well!
Shifts:
  • 3rd shift - Sunday night to Friday Morning 10pm to 6:30am. Potential to work Saturdays and OT as needed.
  • 2nd shift – Monday to Friday 2pm to 10:30am. Potential to work Saturdays and OT as needed.
Training: Training will take place on 1st Shift for a minimum of 2 weeks.

Who Are We?
Our Florence, SC distribution center charges, packages and ships the batteries used in cars, boats, and motorcycles. We have been here since 2007 and now employ more than 285 people and operate six days per week. We are actively involved in our local community and received the United Way Campaign Excellence Award annually since 2015. Our employees also support the American Heart Association.
Primary Duties:
  • Adhere to all safety standards including the wearing of Personal Protective Equipment.
  • Learn how to perform all functions on assigned production machines, including controlling and adjusting machine settings, feed raw materials or parts to semi-automated machines.
  • You will be trained to place labels on products when needed and palletizing products for the Material Handlers to grab and place on racks for customers.
  • Clean equipment, tools, etc. and surrounding area between jobs to maintain a clean and orderly work area.
  • Prepare daily production, maintain records of production and time reports.
  • Verify product meets quality standards and keep records of approved and defective units.
  • Perform quality checks on products.
  • Trained to load and unload the machines with product.
  • Trained to perform minor preventive maintenance on machines.
  • Trained to perform minor repair on machines.
Qualifications
  • Must be comfortable standing for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to perform basic math functions.
  • 1+ year(s) of manufacturing experience.
  • Must be comfortable working in a hot environment.
  • Comfortable with work overtime as needed along with potential working weekends.
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred not required.
