Job Description
As a Customer Training Instructional Designer at QGenda, you will play a crucial role in developing engaging and effective training programs for our customers. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create training materials that empower our customers to maximize their understanding and utilization of our products and services. Your expertise in instructional design, adult learning principles, and innovative training methodologies will drive the success of our customer training initiatives.


How You'll Make an Impact


  • Multimedia Integration: Incorporate multimedia elements such as graphics, animations, simulations, and gamification to enhance the effectiveness and engagement of training materials.
  • Learning Management System (LMS): Utilize our learning management system to organize, deliver, and track training materials and learner progress.
  • Curriculum Development: Design, develop, and enhance comprehensive training programs tailored to meet the varying needs and skill levels of our diverse customer base.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with subject matter experts, training teams, and cross-functional teams to gather information and ensure accuracy of training content.
  • Content Creation: Create engaging and interactive training content, including e-learning modules, videos, resource guides, and other relevant resources.
  • Rapid Development: Create modern and innovative training materials using the latest technology solutions for rapid development.
  • Assessment and Evaluation: Develop assessments, quizzes, and evaluations to measure the effectiveness of training programs and identify areas for improvement.
  • Instructional Design: Apply modern instructional design principles to design effective and learner-centered training materials that align with desired learning outcomes.


Who You Are


  • COURSE DEVELOPMENT (Proficiency: Advanced) Demonstrated experience building a variety of learning courses, paths, programs, and resources from needs analysis through launch with experience in a variety of development software (Articulate, Captivate, etc.)
  • MULTIMEDIA DEVELOPMENT(Proficiency: Advanced) Demonstrated experience developing videos, gifs, voiceovers, and script writing.
  • Ability to quickly change speeds and focus as business needs dictate and evolve
  • Exceptional planning, prioritization, and project management skills to manage multiple activities and projects with rapid development
  • GRAPHIC DESIGN: (Proficiency: Advanced) Demonstrated experience with graphic design, including editing images, designing PowerPoints and templates, using graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Vimeo, etc.


Experience You Bring


  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Portfolio of work samples provided during interviews.
  • Proficiency in using instructional design software and tools (e.g., Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline, Camtasia, etc.).
  • Proven experience (4+ years) in instructional design and curriculum development for customer training, preferably in a technology or software company.
