Customer Service Representative

Position Summary

This position is an entry level position responsible for processing requests for information from prospective customers, generating sales quotations and order acknowledgements upon receipt of formal purchase orders.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Performs export compliance screenings according to Bluefors policies.
• Other duties may be assigned.
• Works closely with the accounting department on clearing and processing letters of credit (LOC) payments.
• Provides timely and accurate information to incoming customer order status and product knowledge requests.
• Reviews purchase orders, contracts, and terms and conditions.
• Provides timely feedback regarding customer concerns.
• Processes customer orders/changes according to established department policies and procedures.

Qualifications And Education Requirements

• High School diploma/GED with six months to one-year related experience and/or training; Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
