Customer Service Representative

The Nutra Blend Customer Service Representative will work in conjunction with and support the territory salesperson(s) by aiding in the development of and maintaining business within the designated geography.

Location: This role is remote (virtual) and can work from anywhere in the United States.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Enroll, leverage, and facilitate NBCRP program to customers
  • Process consignment orders
  • Assist in training and motivating customer service team to achieve high performance
  • Responsible for learning sales techniques and reporting daily or weekly activity to a Field Sales Manager or inside sales management. Reporting is done on a verbal basis…usually daily to the outside sales team
  • Review backorder reports; determine root cause
  • Invoicing – investigate billing errors, short pays, long shipped, non-invoiced, and damaged claims
  • Coordinate with internal departments for order add-ons and/or rush orders
  • Provide ideas for process improvements through root cause analysis and other decision making tools and techniques
  • Send out product offerings, specification sheets, MSDS, and copies of tags, pick tickets, and invoices
  • Own customer accounts and manage all aspects of the customer support process
  • Motivate team to follow best business practices including standard operating procedures (SOP) and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX)
  • Act as the liaison between customer service, sales, customers, and supply chain
  • Field inbound/outbound calls; place daily solicitations call to customers
  • Maintain online system maintenance: new customer request, ship locations, product cross references, customer portal set-up
  • Introduce new products and new promotions to customers
  • Provide leadership on day-to-day activities to Customer Service Representatives team members
  • Add value through relationships in the way we meet customers’ needs through order management and effective communication
  • Manual entry of orders – order accuracy and freight methods

Required Qualifications:

  • Advanced in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • Mastery of CSR II responsibilities, skills, abilities, key training requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 3+ years of comparable customer service experience


The target salary for this position is dependent upon experience and is approximately $19-$24 per hour.
