UDK is seeking Customer Service Representatives to handle customer intake calls and assist our customers throughout the mitigation and restoration process. This position has possibilities for remote work and/or hybrid office/remote work. Training and orientation are however mandatory to be completed in office. This is a 30 hr/week position with two shifts, 7am-1:30pm and 11:30 am - 6:00pm.

Starting hourly rate: $20.00/hour with experience, however, pay is commensurate with experience.

  • Customer Service Representative
Position Summary / Purpose
Provide customer support from the initial intake of a contact through the final collection of the project. Provide support to management and estimating staff in the form of orchestration of administrative functions.
Help retain customers and attract new customers from positive customer/consumer reviews.
Principle Duties And Responsibilities
  • Schedule follow up appointments with Estimators and Project Managers.
  • Explain the mitigation and restoration process to customers.
  • Solicit online reviews from customers.
  • Ensure all parties are aware of forthcoming billings from UDK and assist UDK Collection Manager with facilitating billings.
  • Intake new job information.
  • Assist in customer conflict resolution.
  • Relay live jobs to dispatch.
  • Answer phones and handle incoming calls and incoming emails.
  • Collect deductible and/or down/draw payments.
  • Enter information into job management software.
Additional Duties And Responsibilities
  • Assist field personnel and estimating staff w/administrative tasks, contracts, documents, etc.
  • Review projects with missing data and obtain/input data.
  • Ensure documentation is uploaded into job management software.
  • Conduct follow-up phone calls.
  • Any other duties as assigned by Sales Director, CFO or GM.
Working Relationships and Scope
  • Participate in meetings, trainings, etc.
  • Maintain timely communication and flow of information with technicians, service providers, estimators, and project managers.

  • Planning and Organizing–Plans, organizes, and schedules his/her time in an efficient and productive manner. Focuses on key priorities. Effectively manages multiple projects simultaneously. Pays attention to details. Manages personal time well.
  • Technology–Regularly uses standard word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy of work performed and is capable of providing routine troubleshooting and user support for software and hardware used in the office environment.
Qualifications-Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
  • Education and Experience
Associate (2-year) degree in business-related field or high school diploma (or GED) plus three (3) to five (5) years of customer service related experience.
  • Bookkeeping and Accounting
Basic understanding of bookkeeping and experience with bookkeeping or accounting software preferred.
  • Computer Skills
Demonstrates intermediate to advanced proficiency in the use of computers and computer software, especially MS Office, Word, and Excel. Ability to learn new software systems quickly and efficiently.
