Job Description
Schneider Saddlery invites applications for the role of remote Customer Service Representative.


At Schneider Saddlery, we make sure that when a customer needs an expert, we are here for them. In advance of the busy holiday season, we have multiple full-time, permanent openings for experienced and passionate equestrians to join our Customer Service team. We are seeking courteous and professional team players who want to be challenged, who want to contribute to a positive culture, and who view their job as a place to reach their potential.

Key Areas of Responsibility


  • Collaborating with other departments to solve issues.
  • Following up with customers.
  • Identifying customer needs and providing solutions.
  • Providing an excellent customer experience.
  • Serving as an expert advisor for our customers.
  • Assisting customers through inbound/outbound phone calls, emails, real time on-line chats, texts and various social media messaging.
  • Entering orders and add-on sales.


Requirements
  • Ability to be productive and responsible while working from home.
  • Cable preferred over DSL
  • 25Mbps download speed (if other devices will be streaming at the same time, more will be required)
  • Professional and courteous demeanor.
  • Sunday-Thursday 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Eastern
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • 2-4 years customer service experience preferred.
  • Customer First mindset.
  • 2Mbps upload speed
  • We are seeking candidates with availability during one or more of the following shifts:
  • Monday-Friday 10:30 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. Eastern with once per month Saturdays
  • Ability to convey a friendly tone in written form.
  • Solid ability to use Microsoft Office programs and other similar software.
  • Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Eastern with once per month Saturdays
  • Strong understanding of equipment and supplies for horse and rider.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize.
  • Equestrian experience.
  • A quiet, dedicated workspace.
  • Availability:
  • Minimum requirements to be able to take calls over the internet:
  • Experience handling multi-channel customer service including email and live chat preferred.
  • If connecting through Wi-Fi – 5Ghz connection.
