Summary
Operates company's complex high traffic, business critical internet site communications and/or network-based (cloud) product systems. Plans, designs and implements scalable local and wide-area network solutions between multiple platforms and protocols (including IP and VOIP). Responsible for system performance; supports/troubleshoots network issues and coordinates installation of such items as routers and switches with appropriate vendors. Develops tools to automate the deployment, administration and monitoring of a network system. Provides training and assists with proposal writing. Conducts project planning, cost analysis and vendor comparisons and works on project implementation. Works with development teams to enhance and improve system operability. Conducts tests of network redundancy, resilience and failover of network elements to ensure up-time standards are fully achieved.

The challenge
Adobe is driving its business into the Clouds and is looking for a couple of key engineers to help us get there. We are looking for someone who knows both the Amazon Cloud and Enterprise Software, ideally including Adobe CQ and/or Connect), and who can help us continue to improve our product offerings. You will work closely with Amazon, our other cloud engineers and our software development teams in the development of cloud hosted products, as well as their integration 'command and control' management tools and environments to expand Adobe's footprint and scalability in the cloud marketplace.
What you’ll do
Work with Adobe's AEM (CQ), Connect, LiveCycle and other teams to assist in developing new AMIs and deployments of Adobe products
Develop the procedures and routines that we need in order to implement and enhance autoscaling capabilities.
Leverage new Amazon technologies and advanced Adobe Command/Control systems to leverage the next generation cloud management solution
Help to develop and support our upgrade systems for enterprise customers as Adobe products develop over time.
Work closely with the teams that provision, customize, monitor, manage and upgrade our cloud hosted Enterprise offering and drive continuous improvements into the management system to support these areas.
What you need to succeed
Strong experience with cloud hosting and the AWS and Azure infrastructure.
Strong knowledge of Linux, Windows Server, J2EE systems.
Experience with Enterprise mission critical software, Adobe CQ a strong plus
Experience with long term operation, monitoring and upgrade of Enterprise software a plus.
Strong written and verbal communications skills.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $65,500 -- $128,300 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
