They must be able to install, configure, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices. They must be able to troubleshoot and resolve any network issues that arise. They must be able to configure and maintain network security systems, such as firewalls and intrusion detection systems. They must be able to monitor network performance and identify any potential issues. They must be able to create and maintain network documentation. Job Skills Required
• Knowledge of network protocols, such as TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP
• Knowledge of network security systems, such as firewalls and intrusion detection systems
• Knowledge of network monitoring tools, such as Wireshark and SolarWinds
