• Vaccination Requirement for Candidates Seeking Employment The Sweetwater Union High School District has adopted a vaccination mandate that requires all candidates for District employment to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19, including variants, prior to being employed by SUHSD, subject to limited exceptions. The District adopted this vaccination mandate as a condition for employment for all employees as an emergency public health response to mitigate the negative public health consequences to our school communities associated with increased incidence, test positivity rates and the prevalence of virus variants, including increased exposures, absences, hospitalizations, intensive care unit admissions, and deaths.
