Position Overview

In this role, you’ll be assisting as we recycle construction materials such as asphalt, & concrete. You’ll be learning new skills, working on conveyors, and assisting with the production of aggregates. You’ll play an integral part as we stand together to reinvent the way our world is built.

Wage: $34+/HR DOE

Shift: 3 days on, 4 days off. Rotating monthly schedule. Occasional weekends as needed for business demands.

Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions):

• Shovel excess materials from around conveyors and other areas to prevent build up.
• Perform general clean-up, maintenance, and housekeeping tasks at the crusher.
• Operate loader to supply materials to the crusher plant trucks.
• Take action to avoid potential hazards or obstructions.
• Regular and timely attendance.
• Other tasks and duties as assigned to meet business needs.
• Participate in and promote an inclusive work environment.
• Be part of a team dedicated to safely providing quality products to our internal and external customers.
• Promptly communicate with supervisors on any flaws in material.
• Perform general clean-up and maintenance (i.e. oiling, greasing plant equipment) as directed.

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Demonstrates the willingness to learn and work a variety of job tasks.
• Safety minded professional who demonstrates good performance, attendance, and punctuality.
• Demonstrates the ability to work independently, without direct supervision.
• Demonstrates the ability to conform to and maintain OSHA, MSHA, DOT and all other company or state rules and regulations.
• Demonstrates the ability to work weekends/holidays as needed.
• Must have current US Authorization to work or ability to obtain without company assistance prior to start date.
• Must pass pre-employment physical exam and pre-employment controlled substance testing.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of machines, equipment, mechanic’s hand tools, power tools, welding and cutting equipment, lubricating tools, hoists, cranes, and service trucks.
• Experience in construction, crushing, and/or related field.

• Welding skills.
• Knowledge of crushing and production equipment.

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to crawl, kneel, bend, and reach with hands and arms above their shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move anywhere up to 50 lbs. Physical abilities test will be required. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; outside weather conditions; and extreme cold and/or heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Proper PPE will be provided by our team, but please bring your own pair of steel toed boots.
