The Role at a Glace


Lincoln National Corporation (Radnor, PA) Credit Risk Analyst. Monitor, analyze, and quantify Lincoln National’s exposure to credit and counterparty risk, related to all Lincoln’s investments. Develop system to identify, assess, and prioritize investment and credit risks in a cloud computing service while developing processes to measure and report such risks throughout the organization. Assist with all aspects of the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework focusing on the asset side of the balance sheet. Perform credit risk analysis in stress scenarios and calculate credit economic capital requirements for Lincoln and its subsidiaries. Utilize visualization tools such as Tableau to develop reporting such as: end-to-end stress testing, credit risk attribution, credit VaR, sensitivity analysis, risk decomposition. Communicate results and analysis to senior management and key internal stakeholders. Support senior management with the development, implementation, and communication of investment guidelines on general account assets and potential reinsurance portfolios. Develop, review, and recommend credit risk limits and forecast portfolio’s rating migration. Design and develop quantitative and analytic models to monitor, analyze, and quantify Lincoln’s exposure to credit and counterparty risk.


What We’re Looking For


Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Financial Engineering, or a related quantitative field; 2 years of experience utilizing Excel, XML and SQL to improve and automate data flows in support of credit risk analysis or financial data analysis; 2 years of experience utilizing visualization software Tableau or Aqua Data Studio to generate credit risk or similar financial dashboards and reporting; 2 years of Git experience in managing branches and data integrity; 2 years of experience in cloud computing services such as Azure; 1 year of experience in programming in Python; passed at least the first level of CFA; passed at least FRM Exam Part I. Pay Range: $132,434 -$140,700


Actual base pay could vary based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual. Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
