Summary
Prepares and maintains golf course, performs general landscaping, and building maintenance tasks.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintains landscaping of the greens by watering, seeding, manicuring, spiking, topdressing and mowing/edging using specialized equipment
• Performs janitorial type service in cleaning and maintaining park restrooms
• Maintains tools and equipment and follows City policies, procedures and safety guidelines
• Performs tree maintenance to include planting, pruning, fertilizing and chemical applications
• Cares for ornamental plantings around golf course facilities maintenance includes installation, pest control and fertilizing, and weed removal
• Drives mowers, utility vehicles, and carts in order to complete the essential duties
• Picks up debris and trash from grounds and large trash receptacles
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Maintains and operates, maintains irrigations systems and ornamental fountains

Minimum Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of golf course maintenance, grounds keeping, landscaping, building maintenance

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

• Valid driver’s license
