Costco Travel is seeking outstanding individuals to join our world-class Issaquah, Washington-based Contact Center. Our Travel Reservation Agents assist Costco Members with their dream vacation packages. We are currently hiring new employees to join our agent training class starting in :June.

Position Summary:
Costco Travel is seeking individuals to join the reservation staff to assist Costco members in the planning of their vacation travel, with a focus on first-call resolution in a fast-paced call center environment. Join the team and share knowledge and skills as an active team member in the continuing growth of Costco Travel.

Job Duties/Essential Functions:

• Uses airline and in-house computer systems to make member reservations.
• Communicates members’ needs to other support departments.
• Handles member calls in a friendly and efficient manner.
• Confirms reservations accurately.
• Regular and reliable workplace attendance at your assigned location.

• Computer, phone (headset), printer, copier

Non-Essential Functions:

• Assists in other areas of the department as necessary.
• Assists in other areas of the company as necessary.

Ability to operate vehicles, equipment or machinery:

• Same as Essential Functions

Experience, Skills, Education & Licenses/Certifications :
Required: :

• Effective listening and communication skills.
• Typing speed minimum of 30 words per minute.
• Flexibility to meet the schedule needs of the business (e.g., evening, weekends).
• Detail-oriented approach to work.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Recommended: :

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Internet Explorer.
• Call center experience.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced, growing work environment.
• Sales experience (preferably phone sales).
• Travel industry experience.

• Management will review the Job Analysis for this position prior to a job offer
