Corporate & Institutional Banking Development Program Analyst/Associate – Business Credit

The goal of PNC’s Development Programs is to move analysts and associates from development roles into production roles in one of PNC’s lines of business.
PNC Business Credit is one of the top asset-based lenders in the country with 40 offices nationwide and more than $60 billion in commitments. PNC Business Credit provides senior secured and specialty financing to private equity firms and mid-sized companies across a wide range of industries and geographies throughout the U.S., Canada, and the UK.
The Business Credit track consists of the following opportunities:
Asset-Based Lending - Senior secured financing for companies, including agented and syndicated revolving lines of credit and term loans in support of acquisitions, expansions, recapitalizations, and business transformation.
Vendor Finance ​- Branded, sales-aid finance programs for North America's leading equipment manufacturers, software, and service providers. Equipment financing for Business Credit clients, including CAPEX lines of credit, structured term debt and tax leases that can provide expanded access to capital. Offered through the Structured Equipment Finance group​​.
Technology Finance Group - Financing for sponsor-backed Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) technology companies with recurring revenues generated by software licensing agreements.
The Business Credit track is an engaging 3-year experience especially designed to equip you with the foundational and transferable skills that will enable you to navigate a successful career in banking. Analysts will master PNC’s product set to excel in analytics, credit, relationship management, sales and financial modeling.
Various locations are available depending on rotational opportunity and business needs. Locations may include: Chicago, IL; East Brunswick, NJ; Horsham, PA; Los Angeles, CA; New York, NY; Raleigh, NC; and San Francisco, CA. The ABL program requires a driver’s license, with the ability to travel up to 75% and having access to reliable transportation for commuting to and from customer locations daily (within 100 miles). Travel is generally regional in nature but may at times require the ability to travel overnight up to 75% of the time.

Job Profile :
Participates as an analyst/associate in the line of business development program.
Performs or assists the core activities of the group by applying knowledge learned to drive business results (e.g., deal, sales, process support, internal or external customer interaction, or supporting internal projects). Works under supervision and may have limited approval and/or exception authority.
Participates in social learning within the organization (e.g., identifies and networks with business representatives and peers, participates in mentoring, job shadowing and community outreach).
Participates in formal learning (e.g., classroom, web-based or virtual) and completes related activities and projects.
Supports the internal and external customer experience by providing excellent service at all times; takes accountability and ensures problem resolution.
Required Education and Experience :
Preferred business relevant majors (e.g. Finance, Accounting, Economics and Technology Finance).
Minimum GPA 3.0.
Roles at this level are filled by recent university / college graduates with little or no professional experience, but possessing relevant skills. Includes individuals joining the organization through a corporate development/training program.

Placement within the compensation range is based on the specific role and may vary by geographic location and/or market data.
