Summary
The Corporate Development Strategist is responsible for evaluating and creating growth opportunities as well as the development of growth strategies that can display measurable results and industry comparisons. This role will ensure Viega LLC achieves aggressive growth targets by promoting data-driven decision making across all areas of the business, partnering across functions to define and execute critical initiatives, and support long-term planning. This position will be essential in providing content and delivering key presentations that support executive business reviews and corporate development performance updates. This role will be crucial in delivering results for various stakeholder groups (e.g., excel data manipulation & story lining in power point, etc.).

• Attend key industry events and return with applicable data that supports business growth
• Define clear takeaways and recommendations using both qualitative and quantitative methods
• Serve as a thought partner to ensure effective articulation of the strategic direction across the organization, measuring progress, and connecting that vision to all areas of the business.
• Establish and maintain strategic partnerships, third-party alliances, and a professional network with industry stakeholders
• Create board presentations to provide critical updates on the business
• Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization to drive results and ensure the business executes all committed revenue and profitability targets
• Drive effective and strategic solutions with measurable results
• Develop new technical competence and subject matter expertise to build brand value

Required Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Ability to develop proposals and external facing customer presentations
• Processing data/information, conducting analysis and preparing reports of findings
• Communication and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization
• Up to 40% travel
• Experience establishing processes and workflow
• Exceptional analytical skills, including the ability to construct sophisticated models

Education, Certification/License & Work Experience
Bachelor’s Degree
2+ years in strategy consulting or corporate strategy role
Experience with MS suite products and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered
