What you’ll be doing:

• Oversee and support the accounting team with dynamic leadership that creates an environment of trust and productivity. Team is comprised of 20+ members including: Accounting, AP, AR, Payroll, and offshore. International accounting teams have a strong dotted line to this position.
• Serve as a partner to the CFO and the business to help drive new initiatives and process improvements. Participate in pivotal decisions as they relate to strategic and tactical initiatives.
• Lead efforts to maintain a month-end close at current pace of 5 to 6 days.
• Maintain policies and procedures
• Prepare and manage the month-end close process including timely and accurate close, reconciling all accounts, analyzing the financial statements and variances, and ensuring handoff to financial reporting is accurate and delivered on time.
• Ensure accuracy of GL’s, department coding, schedules, reconciliations and financial statements are issued accurately, timely and in accordance with GAAP.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
• International experience (Canada, Mexico, & Europe), strongly preferred
• 7+ years’ experience as a senior-level accounting leader
• NetSuite or other large ERP experience
